FAQ

What are research peptides?

Peptides are short chains of amino acids – the same building blocks that make up proteins. In science they are used as model compounds to study receptor binding, signalling pathways and cellular processes in vitro and in preclinical models.

What are your products intended for?

Laboratory and research use only. Our products are not intended for ingestion, not for use in humans or animals, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you will use the products for scientific research.

What purity do the peptides have?

Our peptides are manufactured to a high standard of purity, typically ≥ 99 % (HPLC, manufacturer's specification). For the batches supplied we provide the certificate of analysis where available – on the respective product page. In addition, step by step we have our range tested by an independent laboratory for identity, purity (HPLC), heavy metals and endotoxins; we collect all results on the Lab Tests page.

Do I get a certificate of analysis (CoA)?

If a certificate of analysis is available for the batch, it is stored as a PDF on the respective product page – you can view and download it there at any time, even before purchase. An overview of all available test reports can be found under Lab Tests. If a certificate is still missing for your batch, just write to us with your order number.

How are the peptides supplied and stored?

Delivery is as a freeze-dried (lyophilised) powder in a sealed vial. Store cool, dry and protected from light, ideally at 2–8 °C. After reconstitution, store refrigerated and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

How does an order work?

Select a product, add it to the cart, go to checkout and complete payment. You will receive an order confirmation by email; as soon as the shipment leaves the warehouse, a shipping notification follows.

Which payment methods are available?

Payment by credit or debit card, via digital payment services (e.g. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) and by PayPal. Which payment methods are available is shown during checkout. All prices are final prices; if displayed in a foreign currency, the exchange rate displayed at the time of the order applies. Details on the Payment page.

How fast do you ship?

Orders received by 12:00 noon on working days are usually dispatched the same working day. Delivery within Germany usually takes 1–3 working days, correspondingly longer in the rest of the delivery area. These are non-binding estimates. You will find shipping costs on the Shipping & Delivery page.

How is it packaged?

The vials are packed so that they are protected against breakage and transport damage and arrive undamaged.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and Czechia. The countries available for your delivery address during checkout are decisive.

Can I cancel my order?

Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For sealed vials, it expires for hygiene reasons once the seal has been removed. Details and the model withdrawal form can be found in the Cancellation Policy.

How do I reach support?

By email to support@glow-genetics.com – ideally with your order number. We usually reply within 24 hours.
